Saturday starting at 8am we will be praying for 24 hours.
We have spent 40 Days Crying out to God for revival in our life and our church. God is faithful and will answer our prayer.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
We as a church family are join together in a 24 hour prayer vigil and I’m so glad you are a part of it. I believe that God will move in a powerful way because of our faithfulness to pray today.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
This passage makes it clear we are to pray in the Spirit and that will always pray for people fellow believers. We have been prayer for revival to come to our heart for the past 40 days and now we are going to pray for others
The main purpose of this prayer vigil will be praying for revival to come to our church, our community, our country and our world. Any real change in our world will begin when God moves on the hearts of people. This is what we are praying for, starting with us and over flowing to those around us.
Here are some guidelines for the hour of prayer time you are participating in. You may pray as a family or individually, out loud or silently
- 1) Praying for personal revival in your life, the lives of our church family and then our country.
- 2) Pray that God will soften the hearts of people
- 3) Pray for boldness to advance the Kingdom of God
- 4) Pray for the church members and others that God lays on your heart.
- 5) Meditate on the scripture verse that are available in your packet (if you still have time)
I believe that you will find that the time goes by quickly. I ask that you pray during your designated time but its not a race nor is it limited to just an hour. You can pray multiple times if God so leads you. We just want to make sure we are covering a full 24 hours with prayer.
Thank you for taking time to pray. Your investment of time will make an eternal difference in the Kingdom.
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
